Commercial Default and Your Silence

Numbers 30:6 If a woman also vow avow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her fathers house in her youth;

4 And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.

6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;

7 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul,of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.

How does this scripture apply to us?

We as a people are considered the bride (see Revelation 21:2 & 9, 22:17, 2 Corinthians 10:7) of Christ and also the daughter of Zion (see Zecharia 2:10, 9:9-10 & Matthew 21:5). The above chapter establishes that one’s silence can imply one’s consent or one’s obligation to speak.

In commerce this principal applies in many ways. When claims are made and the other party fails to respond and rebut the claim, their silence is considered as consent and validates the claim as there was no rebuttal to the claim.

Legal Maxim: Truth is expressed in the form of an affidavit (claim)

Legal Maxim: An unrebutted affidavit (claim) stands as truth in commerce

Say, for example, you owe the bank $10,000.

The bank will generally send three consecutive demand notices for you to pay the amount they claim you owe them.

If you fail to respond to all three of their demand notices. Then your silence is your agreement to pay them by default. This is called Commercial Default.

Why do the BIG corporations send three demand notices?Well the answer is found in the Bible in the book of Job. Satan makes three claims that Job will curse God if he (Job) is afflicted and Job’s conduct invalidate all three of Satan’s claims. Thus, putting Satan into Commercial Default.

Another example of this biblical number 3 being used is found in Matthew 4, Mark 1 and Luke 4.

In this example Yeshua is tempted by Satan 3 times. Yeshua provides the evidence to invalidate all 3 of Satan’s temptations and Satan leaves the battlefield.

Legal Maxim:He who leaves the battlefield first loses by default.

Biblical Equivalent:He who endures to the end shall be saved.
